Mar 18, 2022 · The normal concerns are the radio and/or amp. You need to take the optical plug out of one and plug it into the bypass loop (loop goes on the cable, not the device). See if doing so on the radio helps. If not, then try it on the amp (you have to put the cable back into the radio; the loop must always be complete).

My Audi s4 2015 has Bluetooth for both media and telephone. The Bluetooth has worked for both since I bought the car until very recently. When I click the media button, it simply says “stuck on initializing” and wont let me click any settings or anything. I’ve tried resetting the mmi, and even restoring it to factory settings.

So i took my car in to the mechanics to get my cooling fan motor and blade replaced as well as my expansion tank and a couple hoses and also my battery on my '08 S5. When i got the car back my mmi wasnt working. The start up screen came on for a couple seconds then it would shut back off.

It only takes a quick push, no need to hold the circular control down. The MMI system will reset. I've been having to do this in my S4 to get my sub woofer to come on, because the sub randomly won't come on intermittently.
